2002 was a life changing year for me. That was the year I got fed up with the way I looked, and decided to make some serious health and fitness changes. I entered the “Body For Life Challenge.” In twelve weeks I radically changed my lifestyle and body and became one of the national winners. Winning changed my life because, not only did I like my new body, people began contacting me from all over asking for help and coaching. Helping with other people’s transformation became a regular part of my life. Since 2002 I have become a certified personal trainer, opened the Fitness Together studio, and now work as a team with other trainers. I have a beautiful wife who enjoys the benefits of me owning a personal training studio. Karen appreciates the accountability her trainer provides and is encouraged with the progress she has made over the past year. My three children also enjoy coming to the studio to ‘work out.’ One of my children has even expressed an interest in taking over the family business some day. Additionally, my ten-year-old and I are both in training to capture two different pull up records. My Hopes for the challenge: After meeting with Ken, I’m proud to be associated with him. He is a quality individual who has high aspirations. His fitness goals are very reasonable, and I look forward to helping him achieve them. My confidence in Ken’s potential to succeed is his desire to enter into a new lifestyle. The next few months will be very intense to get Ken to where he wants to be, and we will also be coaching him in healthy lifestyle habits. These new habits will be crucial in order for Ken to maintain the progress he makes during the challenge, and to preserve his health long term.
