Steps for Courage 5K – Owosso – Memorial Healthcare – 9:00 a.m.

Third annual 5K run and competitive walk. Sponsored by the Memorial Healthcare Auxillary. All proceeds to go toward cancer screenings for the uninsured or the underinsured in the Memorial Healthcare service area.

Running Fit Trail Marathon/Half-Marathon – Pinckney – Silver Lake in Pinckney Recreation Area – Start Times Vary

The Course is a 13.1 mile single track loop through lower Michigan wilderness. Constant hills and beauty including views of 10 lakes. It’s a wide, well used trail with opportunity to pass.

Komen Greater Lansing Race for the Cure 5K – Lansing – State Capitol Grounds Downtown Lansing – 2:00 p.m.

NOW is the time to start planning your team for the 2010 Komen Mid-Michigan Race for the Cure. Our goal this year is 7,500 participants and forming TEAMS is the way to get there! A team can be made of ten or more family members, friends, coworkers, classmates or any group. Rally around someone you know who was just diagnosed, someone who has fought the battle, or someone who may have lost the battle. Run for future generations in hopes that breast cancer will one day be a thing of the past. Run for their lives. Run for your life.
